Will SME run ok on this system? with Dual-core Intel®  Xeon® Processor

So far I know SME7 is Centos 4.2 (a port of RHEL 4) so you could search your hardware in HCL (hardware compatibility list) of RHEL4 or CentOS 4.2.

SME7 use standard kernel too... so no great difference btw RHEL4 / Centos 4.2 and SME7.

BTW: You also can search on Dell site about RedHat EL4 support!
