hi folks

i have a problem getting my primary DNS to work, heres my setup.

Internet <-> ISP NAT <-> Cable modem <-> eth1 on e-smith 5.0
ip: 212.10.123.35                                        ip: 192.168.187.35

i have setup the server to have kaan.dk as my primary domain name and thats fine but i need to set kaan.dk to point to 212.10.123.35 and i also need to open so that ns1.granitecanyon.com and ns2.granitecanyon.com can transfer the records from my host.

im sorry if im being unclear but if you are in doubt please ask and ill do my best to explain :-)

thanks in advance

klaus

With E-smith you will need to have an external DNS system.  Once you have the external source point to 212.10.123.35, your server will respond when someone goes to kaan.dk.

Please email me if you have further questions.
