Hi Steve,

Can you point out to me which versions (on rpmfind.net) of cdrecord & mkisofs can be found?

Thanks in advance (and for the link :-) )

Many versions are of course available. I just used the versions suggested  in the CDBK instruction manual. If any one can advise further ?

Does anyone know the correct fstab entry for a CDRW (ide type) on e-smith ?

Hi Steve,

I only had to add alias scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi in modules.conf, did'n need to change fstab or lilo.

cdrecord -scanbus reported succes on 0,0,0 as being a lite-on cdrw

Hi,

I didnt need any changes to modules.conf or alias to use the backup software but needed the fstab entry to mount as a normal cd drive for normal use.

How are you getting on with backing up ?

I seem to get verification errors that seem to be specific to 2 disk out of a new box of 10 branded TRAXDATA disks.
