Hi All
We have just upgraded a 6.0.1-1 server to 7.0 and could not get the tape drive to work. It was working in 6.0.1-1.
The error is logged as
Jul 29 19:03:20 server kernel: sym0: <895a> rev 0x1 at pci 0000:06:03.0 irq 201
Jul 29 19:03:20 server kernel: sym0: using 64 bit DMA addressing
Jul 29 19:03:20 server kernel: sym0: No NVRAM, ID 7, Fast-40, LVD, parity checking
Jul 29 19:03:20 server kernel: sym0: CACHE INCORRECTLY CONFIGURED.
Jul 29 19:03:20 server kernel: sym0: giving up ...
This appears to be a gotcha.
