« on: January 24, 2002, 09:55:47 AM »
Hi all,

only a simple (maybe stupid) question:

Is SQUID working as a transparent proxy, or have i select the properties in my browser settings to use the proxy ?

Greetings

5.0 transproxy is not installed.  http access traffic not logged.
5.1.2 transproxy is installed and squid is turned on by default.  http access traffic is logged.

I can't get the latest versions of squidguard on this site to work with the version of transproxy in 5.1.2.  Also, if you use squidguard on 5.0, it will be disabled if you upgrade to 5.1.2.
