Selintra,
Unfortunatelly after loading the latest version selintra-sail-2.1.12-239 it does not work. I have 02 FXO cards:
Code: [Select]
loader.c:554 load_modules: Loading module chan_zap.so failed!
then asterisk dies.

I went back to 2.1.11 which works fine.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Hello Stuntshell

2.1.12-239 is the alpha test release for ISDN HFC BRI Cards and universal provisioning.  It needs a different set of asterisk rpms (the anabri- prefix versions) and requires a different procedure for identifying your PCI Cards.  We have tested it with X100P FXO cards but not extensively.  The reason your set-up failed is almost certainly because you didn't run the Initialise routines in the PCI cards panel.  You can read about it in www.selintra.com/docs.

If you don't have any immediate requirement for ISDN BRI or universal provisioning, I would recommend you stay with 2.1.11-214 for now.  In the next week or so we will release 2.1.13, which has beta-1 ISDN code and brand new Commit/Regress functionality.  You might want to go with that release as a next step.

Kind Regards

Selintra

Hello fpausp

2.1.12 supports HFC "cologne" boards.  These are low-end passive ISDN cards.  2.1.12 will only allow you to run the cards in TE mode (no NT).

There are bugs in 2.1.12 (see bugzilla on contribs) which we are currently working through.  You may wish to wait for 2.1.13 to test, which will hopefully have most of the bugs worked through.  However, you can read up on 2.1.12 at www.selintra.com/docs

Kind Regards

Selintra
