Topic: Does the ClamAV of SME lack realtime monitor?

I have enabled ClamAV on SEM server.And the ClamAV can find and kill  viruses on on samba share as a cron task. But looks that the ClamAV is not realtime monitoring.Is it?Or i have some wrong configure about it.

Depends what you mean or understand by the term 'realtime'.
Does ClamAV cleck each and every process that runs for viruses? No.
Does ClamAV check each and every email passing through? Yes.
It does not work like, say, Symantec Anti-Virus does on a Windows box.
