Topic: All ports are closed

I installed the new sme 7 version, and restored from an earlier version 7.

I installed it as server gateway.

No i can't reach the webmail, website or vpn to mij sme server and the mail with smtp is not comming in

When i perform a firewall check with www.grc.com, all ports are stealth.

It looks if alle ports are closed. I also opened some ports for asterisk, and forward them to localhost, but those ports are also not opened when i check it with an firewall scanner.

The server from which i restored the data was working in server only mod, after the restore, ik changed this to server and gateway mode.

last night i found out that my  avg virus scanner can't update, and with winamp i can't play internet radio.

I can send a ping from the server to an adress on the internet, but i can't get ping response from a client pc to the internet.

Is this a bug in the system, for the portopening. ??

Did you do a Reconfigure and a Reboot ?
See the server manager Reboot/Shutdown/Reconfigure menu

I did a reconfigure to server gateway mode and a reboot, but the problem stayed. Then a reconfigured the server again as server only reboot and then reconfigured it again as gateway and server.

I find it very strainch that i can't ping with an client to a server on the internet. I van ping from the server.

the problem started when i couldn't receive email with smtp.

I can make an backup bij the server console, download an new cd and restore the data.

this evening i changed the 2 nics. i used an intel e100 voor outside and an realtek for outside. I swaped the nics and no the problems are solved, it looks like the intel e100 is not wel configured for the outside normaly.

The portopening for some ports for asterisk still doesnot work, i opened port 5060 adn 5061, but the dont appear on the open ports list of grc.com
