Saving M$ excel .csv files to an IBay
« on: February 01, 2002, 02:30:30 AM »
Several weeks ago a user said he could not save an *.csv Excel (office XP) file to an ibay on SME 5.0. I verifed his complaint, but that is as far as it went. Today, I upgraded my SME 5.0 update 3 to 5.1.2 with ZERO problems. I tried to save a *.csv file to the IBay and it saved it properly. Keep up the GREAT Work. I host my website and email on this server for the past 3 months, perform tape backups with a SCSI 4/8 GB and I don't even know it's there. IT just works !!!

Thanks for a great Product.

I cannot imagine why you would ever have had problems saving csv files
from Excel in an ibay. I'm sitting looking at a whole directory full of
them. There isn't even an issue here. Anything that can be produced from a
Windows PC can be saved to an e-smith ibay as transparently as saving it
on a local hard disk.
