I have a simple question regarding SME 7.0 . I have a box with 3 large Hard drives.... 1. 300gig ide, 2. 300gig ide, 3. 240gig sata. I want the SME server to use all of the hard drive space for i-bays. My Ibay configuration will be simple... I need an I-bay for a large public repository and a smaller but secure i-bay restricted to groups. What is the best way to configure SME during installation so that all drive space is used? I've tried to install but installation only allows me to either use one drive installation or to set up redundant Raid1 (which is a waste of hd space for my network). Is raid 5 the answer? If so, will I loose the 40 gigs on each 300gig drive So I can have equal size partitions on each drive? Can that remaining extra space be partitioned, mounted and used as additional i-bay space? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
