Just fiddling to get IP3000 set up for a client!! It works OK, but is a tad slower than I expected. Mobo has 8 USBs, so I chose the first one directly below the NIC (easy to remember once on site) I suppose I got lucky, because it printed first time around!
Steps I used:
- set up printer via user manager
- in network browser on Window$, click CONNECT on the shared printer
- the user has an account on the server (duno if this is needed)
- install the driver from CD for the printer
- print a test page (this takes a loooong time to return printer properties)
- Done
I can only guess that you probably need to fiddle with the USB ports until you get the correct one, tedious process as first print does take its time.
Hope that helps.....
