Topic: Would this be possible with SME7

i have ipvpn that is connected to my network and wanted it to have internet access.

pc
--------->gateway--------->-gateway------->hub------>sme7----->internet


would adding a network on the web pannel be able to give internet access to the added network?

please advice...

Is your objective to allow the SME to monitor/control the internet traffic for the PC, or just to allow the PC to connect to the SME and still browse the Internet?

If the latter, you need only disable "use default gateway on remote network" in the properties of the VPN connection on your workstation (Open the "Properties" of your VPN connection, Select "Network", Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", Select "Advanced", remove check-mark for "Use Default Gateway on Remote Network").

If the former, what happens if you set the PC to use the SME as a proxy server?

i like to used the later, but my pc is not coonecting by mean of vpn.

i cant http any site from remote but i can ping network b, tracert to google, shows RTO after gateway/router x, but a tracert to network b are all ok.

any idea, my isp says that all are open and they not blocking anything.

OK, so I didn't recognize "IPVPN", jumped to some conclusions, and didn't read most of your first post...

The short answer to your first question is "yes".  If IPVPN is the service provided by fatpipe, then you would need to add "network a" as a "local network" on the SME box for "pc" to have internet access.

It's pretty common for traceroute / tracert to fail when it reaches a redundant link - something about the return packet coming on a different path than the original packet - so I don't think a failed tracert to google tells us anything.

all tracert to internet address just drop off, in between gateway/router a and b, would it be with my isp routing problem or they are blocking the internet access, note: my ipvpn does not have internet access ask requested, but internet should be pulled from network b via my sme.

Yes - that's what I would expect if the route from "router x" to "router y" is through fatpipe's "ipvpn" load balancing / redundant network.

ipvpn is internet protocol vpn, and no its not provided by fatpipe it can be provided by any isp...
