I have 1 box running 6.5 as the domain controller.

I want to replace it with new box running 7.0

If I make the new box domain controller, will it migrate any accounts ?

Can I copy accounts or will I have to re-create them ?

Can Samba 3 (which is in SME 7?) become a BDC to the 6.5 PDC, then promote it to PDC ?

http://us3.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/samba-bdc.html#id2539915 implies that a Samba machine can be a BDC to a Samba PDC - but they don't tell you how..   yet to find that..
