Having trouble trying to connect my SME 7 to my ISP which uses PPPoE.
Connectiong throug a modem that can be set either in router mode (modem handling PPPoE), or bridge (me handle PPPoE).
My modem manages to connect as well as a windows machine I tried with. When trying with SME, or for that matter, my Suse 9.1 I get "timeout waitng for PADO packets".
Talked to my ISP support center, but he couldn't see any PPPoE trafic from me.
Where might the problem be? Is there a problem with my config, or is there something on the ISP domains?
Would a change of modem be anything to hope for?
