madwifi module

There are certain situations where it would be advantageous to have the WAN on SME be a wireless adapter.  I tried it for a goof, and found that SME 7 DOES recognize that it's a wireless adapter with an Atheros chipset, but has no way to drive it.  Could someone develop and include an SME/CentOS port of madwifi?  Especially upon installation, this would be fantastic.  Comments welcome.

Have you checked the NFR over on the bug tracker? Also are you/others prepared to pay for someone to develop this for you/others?
