Nop that is for everyone, and as far as I can remember it has always been like this at cintribs.org.

Yah, it was always disabled, except for the last week.  I think it's better that way, so people don't PM a solution to someone's post, and then it doesn't get answered in the forum.

We made the profiles and memberlist inaccessible if you aren't logged in, so google or other indexers/bots won't be able to harvest emails from the forums.  So its safer to list your email address in your profile than it was before.

Greg;

I am really new to this site and thought it was always on. Anyhow,  I had private mailed somebody who sent me back an answer to my question and now I can't get it. Is there a way to retrieve.

Thx in advance for your help.

Ian

Sorry, you'll have to ask them again.  Blame it on me :P

That's exactly the reason why it's disabled though - we want all the answers in a searchable forum.  Although, be warned, the "answers" on the forums is definitly not always correct.
