Normally it is available from the internet. Isn't Chello blocking port 80 in Holland?

Jeroen and others,

As I replied privately, Chello isn't blocking the port 80. (How would i be able to access ANY webpage???)

I managed to run a webserver on that port, but i am not with SME 5.1.2...

Do you have any ideas?

Yours

Dennis

Create a new ibay and configure it that it is accessible from the internet.
That's all!

Dennis, if your ISP were blocking inbound port 80 requests (as is becoming increasingly common), you'd still be able to access outside websites from your LAN, but you wouldn't be able to see your web server from outside.  I'd still bet that this is the case.  If it isn't, maybe you set your machine to "server and gateway - private"?  That would make any services only available to the LAN, not to the internet.

Nope... I set it up as Dedicated...

when I look in /etc/services, I see that there runs no process on port 80...

BTW: I assured that my ISP isn't blocking any port...

/etc/services is irrelevant to the question at hand.  Do you have a static or a dynamic IP address?  If dynamic, are you using a dynamic DNS service?  Can you access your web server from outside using its IP address?
