Topic: Sony SDX-560V AIT-2

Hi folks,

I've recently bought a Sony tapedrive to backup my sme-server.
The only problem that occurs is that SME won't install the tapedrive.

The last week, I've searched the forum for a solution and found a lot
of info consering SME 6. But I seems to me SME 7 should install the sony
drive with no problems whatsoever.

The tape drive is mentioned in the boot.log, but Yosemite Backup doesn't reconise the drive. When I type lsmod, the ide-scsi isn't loaded either.


I'm a compleet SME newby, please help me.

# /sbin/modprobe ide-scsi

then ;

# mt -f /dev/nst0 status

What happens ?
