Question about upgrade from a production 7.0 to 7.1
« on: January 02, 2007, 12:38:52 PM »
Hi,

If I want to upgrade my production sme 7.0 to 7.1, first I have to enable the yum test repository , update this 7.1 rc1 packages from this repository and then upgrade again to 7.1 final ? Is this correct?

This will be the procedure to upgrade from 7.0 final to 7.1 final, or I should wait until all the 7.1 final packages moves to the normal sme repositories?

Sorry for my questions but the last time I have problems with the yum upgrade ,I have enabled by mistake the test repository and mess up my 7.0 box.

Could somebody clarify me the upgrade proccess?

Thanks in advance

See my second post here:

I've edited it to reflect 7.0 -> 7.1 final upgrades.
