Topic: At wits end - can't install r7.0final

I'm trying to install R7.0 final on a Via Epia based system.  Its starts to boot from CD then the PC reboots at the end of loading initrg.img ...repeatedly.

The PC used to be running R7.0p3 (and several betas) successfully  and this CD still works OK.

So far I've tried:
- The iso MD5 checks out, but I redownloaded just in case.
- I've burnt CD's from the iso at slower and slower rates
- I've changed the CD drive a couple of times, its now got a known good fast one in it.

Ideas welcomed!
(PS I'm a long time SME user from 5.1.2 days, this is my second backup server  ;¬)

Have you read the readme.txt and tried booting from using "smei586"
