How to access to a computer on the network outside the LAN?
« on: December 04, 2006, 02:55:08 PM »
Even if I redirect ports to the concerned computer, I don't know how to see a computer on the network...

I have tried to redirect ports 22, 21, 80, etc... I CAN connect to the SME, but I can't see or access other computers on the network.

These computers are all Macs, please help? :)

you need to setup to mac on the network with a static ip and then forward the ports necessary from the server to that ip of the mac

Apple Remote Desktop uses
TCP and UDP port 3283
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106847

There are other remote access programs check here
http://www.pure-mac.com/remote.html

Just search google for ports used with the program that you are using
