Topic: Error 619 when connecting with XP Pro to SME 7.1

I'm trying to connect from work to my SME 7.1 at home. It is not working as I get an error on my XP Pro; 619.

'Operation not permitted'  ?? The user is allowed to make a VPN.

As I search trough the forum I only see problems conserning older versions of SME.
This SME 7.1 is straight out-of-the-box with some yum updates that announced themselves by email to the administrator.

The problem is when connecting from one SME-network to another; I cannot connect from anywhere!

It looks as though you may have a firewall blocking GRE packets.  You can't establish a VPN without GRE packets.

check to see if the routers at either end of the connection allow GRE passthru; no passthru equals no connection.

If the router(s) have the option to port forward GRE then use that.
