How do you install with SATA Controller because nothing is happening but it goes so far as loading Promise SATA driver but after that it reboot

Can you explain a bit more? i.e did you manage to install then it rebooted? or didn't it even get as far as the media check?!
Can you install centos 4.4? if not then its probably going to be hardware related

Can you disable ACPI in the BIOS?
I run SME7 systems using 2 x SATA drives, so some do work!

I also run 2 SME 7 servers running SATA drives and in general the 2.6 kernel is much better at supporting SATA drives.
