Unable to connect to IMAP server.
you may have exceded the maximun number of connections to this server is so use the advanced IMAP server setting dialog box to reduce the number of cashed connections.

This is the message i get from thunderbird uppon opening it. sometimes the accounts will open most of the time they dont.

Will adding additional users to the server resolve this problem and if so how do i do that, if someone could tell me or send me a link to a howto it would be much appricicated

Cheers

Do you have a lot of folders in or next to your inbox? It might have something to do with the concurrency limit, search for it on the forums, it has been up there multiple times I believe.
