Topic: Configuring the sme server as a proxy server only

Please excuse me if I am in the wrong forum.

I am wanting to set up the sme server as a proxy server and wish to do the following

1. Configure proxy server settings to
 allocate limits for user groups
 cut off web access when group limits are exceeded
2. Set up proxy monitoring to see which users are accessing web services and at what levels. Ideally some graphical representation is ideal

Question
Is there any documentation for setting up the proxy server to limit usage and if so where can I find it. Ideally a web protal would be the way to set this up rather than via a command line.

Any assistance would be greately appreciated.

Not with SME! You would need to look into other distributions for that (Monowall, pfsense, mikrotik)
