It was a few day ago.

Nothing happen! The server was running FINE and No Problem until last Thursday when it's gone weird & funny. Then my user cannot access the server from IMAP / Webmail and today from POP3.

Server setting is Server-Only mode. It's serve user email and webmail only.
It's using the STANDARD Configuration, No other contribs. It's totally EMAIL & WEBMAIL server.

WHEN? ... I see that error when trying to connect to server using IMAP/POP3 and It's refuse my connection when using WEBMAIL.

A few minutes ago it's refuse my SMTP connection. ???

Thanks

Are you trying from within the local network or from external?

What type of firewall do you have?

I am experiencing similar issues. A couple weeks ago, I upgraded from 7.0 to 7.1 with no problems. This afternoon, one of my users reported that the webmail was down ("Firefox cannot establish a connection to the server"). When I tried accessing Server Manager, I got the same response. However, the admin account works fine when I login on the console. Also, the IMAP mail service is working okay (all of these are local accesses from my company's internal network).

I decided to reboot the server. That was a mistake. Now, not only is the web service down (both Server Manager and webmail), but the e-mail service is down, too. When I launch Mozilla Thunderbird, it tells me "Unable to connect to your IMAP server". I can ping the server, so I know that it's up and running.

The server was configured in server-only mode, and there is no firewall between my PC and it. This doesn't appear to be a firewall or network connectivity issue. Something changed on the server over the weekend, and I have no clue what that was. Any idea where I can start looking for the culprit(s) of these problems?

Yes, I believe that bug 2035 is the culprit. This thread had the solution:

http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=33171.0

I had to:

- Stop both httpd services
- Stop both imap services
- Delete the SSL key & certificate
- Run "signal-event domain-modify"
- Run his lock-file clean-up script

It was a nuisance, but my server is functioning normally again. Fortunately, it happened right after everyone went home, so my phone wasn't ringing off the hook. I hope this bug gets fixed soon and rolled out via yum.

Wrong.

That thread has the work around.

I've tried the solution unfortunately for me ... never mind ...
I'll do exactly as your steps ... to try my luck ... If not I've to re-install my server (ughhhhhhhh!) to help my 400 +++ users! The 7.1 is on my hand now!

In my book, it amounts to the same thing. That "solution" fixed the problem right now. I'd much rather have a permanent solution, but I don't know when that will occur. At least my e-mail and web server are up and running again.

I had the same problem. Running the script in http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=33171.0 fixed the HTTP/HTTPS/IMAP/IMAPS problems, but I still have a problem with SMTPS - can anyone help me sort this out?

Thanks.
