Topic: Tape Backup I/o error solution

I recently installed a new Seagate 20GB SCSI Travan tapestreamer in my SME 5.1.2. At first the backup stated with i/o errors.

Then I executed the next lines as root:

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop flexbackup erase_rewind_only false
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event console-save

After that the backup runs perfectly, BUT when I reboot my server I have to do this all over again.  Any idea what goes wrong???
