I have just installed the new version of SME 7.1 on a test server box and after updates I notice a backup to usb drive option in the panel (ssh in as admin) the system mounts the usb drive fine and does the backup correctly. My question is how do I restore the backup on the server? Do I have to go through server-manager or is there a command line option to do it? The reason I ask is I have a fare amount of data and the restore from desktop is saying that the backup has to be 1/2 the size of the free space.. I am well over 1/2 the size so I was hoping a utility that accesses the usb drive can uncompress without having to copy to the server first, thus being able to restore a almost full server without having to upgrade the hard drive size. Any help would be great thanks.
