hi all..!!!

Sorry by my english.

I made 2 Fedora 7 "server" for virtualization.

Both have the same motherboard (msi p35 platinum) with 8 GB ram.

One have quad core processor  an the other have a 2 Core Duo

Upgrade Fedora 7 with yum update, Install VirtualBox  y setup 2 Virtual Machine

1 Virtual machine runnig another fedora with specific services.
1 Virtual machine runnig SME 7.2  installed from ISO


on SME , y use 3 console with this commands

1).. rsync -av -e ssh 192.168.128.3:/home/e-smith/files/users/ /backup     
Runnig

2) command top...
Running

3) ping 192.168.128.3
running ... and.... crash..

The crash can occur on any console, sometime inform KERNEL PANIC..SYNC..,other just hang


I try Fedora 32 Bit with normal and PAE kernel
I try Fedora 64 Bit and is the same

Any body can help?.-- I need consolidate other servers in the same "Server" for virtualization.

I chose VirtualBox for console command to start/stop and rdp option and for GPL.

- What exact version of VirtualBox
- What type of networking is defined for the Virtual SME (NAT,HOST etc)

Hi!.. a thanks!..

I am using VirtualBox 1.5, and the virtual machine use tap device via bridge.

I configure the virtual server as "server only" and with a IP Address in the same subnetwork of my real lan

Ping to local network and internet it's ok.

I can ping from & to the virtual sme

Check the bridge settings under Fedora, it can be tricky.
