I have set up SME 7.1 server to primarily to act as a proxy server and firewall. Our mail is hosted off site. Problem is one client we need to be send emails to is failing. All other places we email to have no problems in sending and receiving. This particular client can send emails to us but we cannot receive any. When I bypass the server and connect directly to the router the mail gets through OK. Below is a copy of the failure notice issued by the SME server.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at b2crecyclers.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

I am fairly new with SME but I think it is a great system.
Can anyone out there find a simple solution to this problem.

You'll need to examine /var/log/qpsmtpd/current to see why your server is rejecting email from this client.

I changed the email delivery settings to point to my host email server
Then everything worked, Hooray
