I can see it is missing a R in the product name, but is this the same card? Could  MSI G965M-FI and MSI G965M-FIR be the same?

It seems that the R is for Onboard-Raid.

I was able to install SME 7.3 on Asus P5B-VM, as server only how to get the build-in gigabit lan card to work?

I have the same board.  I couldn't get it to work either.  Gave up and spent $10 on a dlink nic card.
