Topic: does SME 'do' the If-Modified-Since HTTP header?

On the Google help area there is the following piece of information:

Make sure your web server supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. This feature allows your web server to tell Google whether your content has changed since we last crawled your site. Supporting this feature saves you bandwidth and overhead.

Does SME7.1.3 so support this functionality or do
I have to invoke or otherwise set it up separately?
