Topic: Configuring the SME 7.0 to run in server and gateway mode

i am a beginner with networking and i need to know how to configure SME to run in server and gateway mode. I was trying all day today and can't get my head around it. I am connecting this server to a windows 2003 file server that will connect to xp machines on my local network. Can anyone help?

You have the option to choose server/gateway mode when you install or (if you allready instaled) use the console and login as admin (same password as root) and use the reconfigure option and you'll be able to change to server/gateway.
