I hope anybody can help me out with this. I am trying to install a fresh 7.2 but installation fails directly at the start because no harddrives can be found by the installer. I am using a SiL 3112a SATA controller with a single 125 Gb. harddrive. During POST I see the controller BIOS initializing the drive so the controller seems to work fine but during initialisation of the installer the sil_sata driver is being loaded but despite that it cannot find any drive.
