We have a small network running sme server and 9 identical networked pc's running xp home.
We have at any one time 40-60 users that come and go. We currently use usb flash drives for each user to store thier data, but I would love to get something going like roaming profiles so a user could log onto any pc and bring up their own desktop and files, and have their data stored on the server.
Roaming profiles are apparently impossible with xp home but I could settle for just mapping my docs to the server. Problem I see is that any user can be using any pc, so I would have to setup every user on every pc, and users can change daily.
Anyone got any ideas on what I could do so a user can log onto any pc and at least have my docs stored on the server ?
