Topic: Torrent Flux Wiki

Hi Guy's,

I'm relativly new to SME Server. I recently got an old P2 350Mhz machine and a copy of SME Server 7.1. I have been playing around on it for about a month or so, installing cms's and playing around with other things.

I wanted to install Torrent Flux, so I did it as the wiki ( http://wiki.contribs.org/Torrentflux ) said which was a very nice Wiki by the way   . Anyway after I did the last step and tried to access myserver/torrent, the page loads but it's just all white, no writing or anything on it  

Can someone help me? Any help would be much appreciated

In one of my attempts to install stuff on SME server (I think it was TorrentFlux) I got  this "white screen of death".  I fixed it by re-formating and starting again....Mine was just a test system, sorry if yours isn't....

Yeah the white screen only happens when I got myserver/torrent - that's where torrent flux is suppose to be. Everything else is working good. My server is in SERVER ONLY mode.

Well it's sort of a test server, just means i'd have to update it all again if I did a reformat....

I know exactly what you mean, the upgrade from 7.1 to 7.1.3 can take a little while....

My white screen crash was actually in server manager though, so I was kind of forced to re-build.  Afterall that i found that torrentflux wasn't up to my expectations, it doesn't have a scheduler yet and wasn't as nice to uses as uTorrent.  So I'm looking for something else.....trying Azureus and ktorrent, no success yet.

Can they actually run on SME? I always thought that TorrentFlux was the only torrent client that could run on SME.

Azureus runs fine on SME, if you run it headless. Search the Azureus wiki for more info.

I have Azureus running headless and I have the swingUI (JAVA) and webUI (HTML) plugins installed so I can control it.

Well I did a Reformat today and redid the wiki. TorrentFlux now works

A blank page usually means a php error.

By default, php errors are not displayed. You can search the forum on how to enable php errors.

Probably a moot point now anyway.
