Topic: 500 internal server error out of the blue on Production Serv

HELP  

My production server seems to be having some problems completely out of the blue.  

2.  I went to access the server manager from one of my PC's and got an 500 Internal Server Error, could anyone give me any ideas why this has suddenly happened

2.  It appears that the SMTP server is also not working because emails are being rejected both sending and receiving

I would like to access the log files via putty, could someone let me know where they are?

all logs are kept in: /var/log/sshd
