However:
Why do I get a strange mixture of times in the mail log?
Its as though it sometimes uses the US time instead of the GMT that I am on.
Example:
Mar 14 06:20:15 server01 smtpfwdd[3339]: forwarding to recipient postmaster@bjsystems.co.uk
Mar 14 06:20:15 server01 smtpfwdd[3340]: forwarding to recipient postmaster@bjsystems.co.uk
Mar 14 01:20:15 server01 smtpd[3292]: mail from
Mar 14 01:20:15 server01 smtpd[3292]: smtp connection from UNKNOWN@localhost(127.0.0.1) MAIL FROM: RCPT TO: , allowed by line 26 of /etc/smtpd_check_rules
Mar 14 01:20:15 server01 smtpd[3292]: Recipient
Mar 14 06:20:15 server01 smtpfwdd[3341]: forwarding to recipient postmaster@bjsystems.co.uk
