Will hylafax work on SME if its run on VMware.
I am able to receive faxes... but I get errors when sending them...
usually No response to EOP repeated 3 times
Is this a configuration issue at my end or is it a problem with the receiver's machine....
Most probably not..should be something to do with the configuration of the ttyS0 because when I send the same fax via a physical modem or even using Windows fax software... it reaches the receiver's end without any problem vis-a-vis HylaFax
Sometime at the receiver's end, only the top line of the fax is got, boy missing and the fax transmission gets terminated saying that an error has occurred.
This is what I have done...
I installed SME on VMWare...
Connected COM3 to Vmware which is my DLINK PCI modem...
Installed hylafax
Use FrogFax as client.
Use Redmond Port Redirect to send fax from MS WORD
