Since yesterday at 12:58pm MDT freshclam updates have been failing with all of the mirrors rejecting connections from my machine with the following error message:

"too often connections with outdated version"

I am running v0.90.1 and have verified I have the latest version released for SME Server.  Is anyone else getting these errors?  Is this an SME issue (due to not releasing an updated rpm)? Or is this a hiccup with the clamav mirrors?  I've been unable to find any further information on this error either here or at the clamav site.

Not sure whether it's a clamav problem or something in the SME setup.

I am getting the same thing starting yesterday as well. I've added to the bug3175.

I tried deleting the mirror file per the previous work around but to no avail. I suspect the issue is exactly as it states:
"too often connections with outdated version"
