Topic: Slow access through domain authentication while fast through workgroup.

I am working within WXP with two setups. One cpu has xp home accessing SME 7.2 ibay through a workgroup and its lightning fast (about 20min for 19gb transfer). My other cpu running through domain authentication on XP pro can't so much as transfer 5mb in the same time. How is that? I exchanged cables, rebooted with reconfiguring the Nics both ways and the same result happens each time. It appears that domain authentication is the culprit but I wonder if there is something outside of granting Ibay permissions to rectify this.The permissions are set for group writing and reading while the two accounts within the group are spread between the 2 pc's mentioned. Please help.. Thanks in advance...

Have you tried to copy files from the Pro machine to the Home machine to test that it may be the Pro computer itself.
