Topic: junkmail autopurge?

In Horde, I found controls to purge my deleted folder after (typically) 30 days, but this option isn't available for junkmail

I've set my system to use the deleted folder for spam instead of junkmail, but wondered if there was a dbconfig or equivalent to autopurge junkmail for all users so it became a one time task?

You can change the "days" that spamassassin sets to automatically delete junkmail, to do this just type at command line...

# db configuration setprop spamassassin MessageRetentionTime 60

Where 60 is the value you want, then do...

# signal-event email-update

I had read the Sonora how to, and it states that there is already a default of 90 days for spam assassin
 
Problem is, I had junk from 2006 !   Also, the mail in horde wasn't sorting by date, or if it was, the display date isn't the same date as the sort date!

hmm, maybe the spam has fake dates?  This 7.1 server wasn't in service in 2006!

I was hoping that whatever solution evolved, it would be tweakable from the Horde options.

fakes dates are usuals in spams

i guess the date that is in use to delete spam is the date of creation of the file containing the spam
