AWSTATS folder is empty
« on: September 23, 2007, 09:27:26 PM »
Hi to all.
I know that I have a open post, but this sme 7.2 it great than ever. Well I installed the Awstat to track my website. But for some reason it always show that is empty. I did some search and point that have to put my log format to combine. I did but still showing empty. This is what I did and some more info.

wget http://umn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/awstats/awstats-6.7-1.noarch.rpm
wget http://www.gtlib.gatech.edu/pub/linux/distributions/smeserver/releases/7/smedev/i386/RPMS/smeserver-awstats-1.2-5.el4.sme.noarch.rpm

rpm -i awstats-6.7-1.noarch.rpm
yum install smeserver-awstats-1.2-5.el4.sme.noarch.rpm
signal-event post-upgrade; signal-event reboot

the yum ran but I get some error trying to copy some folder, honestly y did not copy the errors.
 The installation created a folder in /home/e-smith/files/users/admin/home/awstats where I can see my webhost. But that all it is more that 24 hours and it keep indicating empty.

This part of my httpd.conf
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common
LogFormat "%v %h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined_virtual
LogFormat "%{Referer}i -> %U" referer
LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent

I'd recommend uninstalling whatever you've installed so far and reinstalling like this:
I would expect the dungog contrib to work (everying I've ever tried of theirs works), and to be pre-configured for SME.

Then, if you have any problems you can submit a bug report in the bug tracker and the dungog folks will help you out.
