Tutos ?
« on: October 24, 2007, 01:16:27 PM »
Has anyone tried to install Tutos (http://www.tutos.org) on a SME7.2?
I'm looking for the best groupware solution and tried eGroupware, but it has limitations regarding connecting documents with projects.
It seems like Tutos has a better document-integration than eGroupware.

Yes, I had seen that allready. I was looking for any possible suggestions about how to install it and if there were SME-specific things to watch out for.
I've seen the installation instructions, but was wondering if anyone would have written a howto to install it in /opt.

Tried that, but it didn't work....
I tried to install it SME Sitemaker and couldn't get it to work and when I install it in an Ibay it's installable but all is visible .
I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I must be making a simple mistake I think?

Hi EdglingF,

haven't install tutos specifically but if you detail the specific problem you are more likely to get a specific answer.  it has been confirmed it will run, so my advise would be to go back to the /opt install, use sitemaker and then email with the specific problem you come across first.  the community here rocks and is very willing to assist  :D but you are unlikely to get a full howto (of course you may want to create one from your experiences when your complete for the rest of the community!) for each new piece of software more likely to get answers to specific queries.

cheers,
