SCSI driver disk
« on: March 29, 2002, 10:39:12 PM »
I am trying to install sme on my proliant 4500. This server has a smart2 (cpqarray) scsi card. This card is compatible with redhat but the sme driver disks dont detect it because it is an EISA card. I want to know how i can load the drivers. In redhat you can select your scsi card from a list but there is no such menu in sme.

Any ideas????

Thanks

G'day John,
I think I'm having a similar problem getting the setup to read from my Fast and Wide SCSI-2 CDROM. If you find an answer off list I'd appreciate you posting the answer here, I'll do likewise.

Have you tried using the driver disk - made from the cdrom/images directory ????

There should be driver for the array host card.

You may need to read up on the redhat site for the support of that card.
