Topic: Subversion Contrib Update

Is there any plans to update the Subversion contrib to include a newer release of subversion?

Has any installed the contrib and upgraded after the fact to a newer release of subversion - say 1.4.x - if so what is involved?

I believe cactus's updates to the contrib don't necessarily update the actual subversion program. As listed in this other thread, he suggests you get the latest RPM of subversion and manually update that.

Cactus - Thanks for the update. A couple of questions...

First of all the link on the wiki page to your website appears to be incorrect so I'm wondering if there's an updated link or if that one should be removed?

Second, I'm trying to locate where the user panel's setup for subversion places the repositories that I set up. I didn't see a documentation link for the contrib on the wiki page and can't find the directories that I assumed I created with the panel using the find command.

Do I also need to create the repositories with the command-line subversion statements? If so, how does the panel management for the repo know how to link?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm stumped.

It was broken indeed, thanks for pointing that out. I have replaced it with a more general link that will link to all subverison related posts on my blog.
