Topic: Extension not registered but working!

Hi All,

I have had a nightmare with one of my servers! Lost my internet connection, tested the internet with a router, works OK, tried setting my server in server only and use the router as a gateway, would not connect, tried new cables, NIC's etc. still no good so I threw together another server and that connected in server-gateway, so I have now installed the following rpms:

smeserver-asterisk-1.2.24-4.i686.rpm
smeserver-asterisk-zappri-MPP-1.2.13-1.i686.rpm
selintra-sail-2.1.14-529.noarch.rpm

I then copied:

/home/e-smith/db/selintra to /home/e-smith/db/selintra-work  and /home/e-smith/db/selintra to /home/e-smith/db/selintra

from my first server to the new one and all my extensions and trunks magically appeared  but one extension on a PAP2 and 2 X-Lite softphones show as unregistered in server-manager but they are actually connected and work  Anyone got any ideas or answers?

OK so I am now confused, got up this morning and the PAP2 shows both extensions as connected but the X-Lite softphones still show as disconnected but actually are working

 check the registration at the asterisk console with "sip show peers".  The server-manager code has been known to get it wrong.

They are all showing as connected now

They will often show as unconnected during registration.  Some softphones register frequently so it may have been that.
