ahh, it is set to 2, I will try increasing it 1 at a time till I find a digit that suits it.

Knew it had to be something simple.

Have increased Fax Detect to 6 and faxes are still being passed to the operator extension.

I am seeing the following Notice from the CLI;
chan_zap.c:3650 zt_handle_dtmfup: Fax detected, but no fax extension

If I dial the fax extension, I get the same as if I accidentally dial a fax number. If I am quick enough on the keypad I can pass the call to the fax extension and it works.

Any ideas Jeff??

Maybe stating the obvious, but you do have the fax detect flag turned on in the fax trunk don't you?  You should also have late termination (in globals) set to NO (to force the agi to to immediately take incoming calls off-hook).

Doh, maybe that was it. Just got to wait for another fax to find out.....
