I aggree with RTFM and i would also say RTFF (RTF FORUMS). People tend to get ticked off when questions have been asked and answered so many times before.

However i also remember what it was like to be fresh to Linux.

So i would suggest you read the manual and specifically any thing to do with PPTP. Using PPTP will allow you to become a part of the lan thus allowing you access to the user manager. Note the reference to upgrading your vpn client to 128 bit encryption.

And a word of warning. Using vpns are great, but if any one where to get a hold of any of your username/password combos your basically stuffed, so observe good password practices. Also never leave it running for any longer than you have to.
