Problems using dungog-getmail
« on: December 20, 2007, 10:31:10 PM »
Dungog-multipop worked fine for me, but I want to use dungog-getmail because it should work better with procmail and spamassassin. So I removed dungog-multipop and installed dungog-getmail.

In the old situation I used multidrop voor my primary (catch-all) pop3 mailaccount ('email settings panel') and dungog-multipop for my extra pop3 accounts . It works fine.

In the new situation, I used dungog-getmail to fetch mail from:

my primairy 'catch-all' pop3 mailbox with:
  • [multidrop] catchall user: *
  • port: 110
  • mailbox type: MultidropPOP3Retriever
and for my extra pop3 mailboxes:
  • [singledrop] deliver to user: username
  • port: 110
  • mailbox type: SimplePOP3Retriever
Getmail fetches the the mail from the extra pop3 mailboxes, but DON't fetch mail from my primary multidrop (catch-all) mailbox.

What could be wrong?

thanks,

Rien

as indicated on line 2

Hi Stephen,

I was aware of that. As I described in the 'new situation' I also fetch mail from my primary using getmail, see:

Quote
my primairy 'catch-all' pop3 mailbox with:

[multidrop] catchall user: *
port: 110
mailbox type: MultidropPOP3Retriever
